The primary purpose of this role is to The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective running of our IT Service Management tools by working with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

 

  • Support operational functions in the IT Service management tools (Service Now and CA Service Desk) supporting internal support users, external support users, and managed services users
  • Maintenance of the service management tools providing ad hoc support services to internal and external customers
  • Maintain accurate production of reporting (utilization, project, product metrics, etc)
  • High quality and timely updates on support work via email and ticket updates
  • Control the functional dashboard and procedures for management reporting based on business metrics
  • Create, schedule, execute, and resolve issues with reporting of customer SLA and metrics in Service Now and CA Service Desk service management tools
  • Create, schedule, execute, and resolve issues with reporting metrics via SQL in MS Power BI and CA Business Intelligence (CABI) or CA Business Objects Enterprise XI (BOXI)
  • Liaison with customers regarding incidents and service requests in a timely and transparent fashion to ensure high quality outcomes for the customer
  • Identify and delivery opportunities for automation and operational improvement through continuous improvement programs
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication via phone, email, documents, and service management tool ticket updates in English
  • Maintain and use quality and metric standards
  • Communicate and manage monthly calendar imposing deadlines for completion of monthly reporting inputs, timesheet entry, billing review and bill production

Qualifications

  • Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate, or Graduate, or BAC+3 as per local diploma in computer science/IT or relevant work experience
  • Clear and concise English communication
  • ITIL certification
  • Willing to work in US shifts
  • Experience in functional and administrative use of Service Now and CA Service Desk
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookup, and data analysis
  • Operational experience with MS SQL with Power BI and/or Microsoft Reporting Services and CA Business Intelligence (CABI) or CA Business Objects Enterprise XI (BOXI)
  • ITIL based experience preferred
