We seek candidates with a PhD in ecology / biological sciences or a related area, prior experience with ecosystem service quantification, and strong quantitative and statistical abilities.  The successful candidate must be able to work independently under tight deadlines, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and also be able to work in a collaborative research environment.  The successful candidate will be based in Bangalore, and will work collaboratively with Dr. Uma Ramakrishnan (NCBS, Bangalore), Dr. Mahesh Sankaran (NCBS, Bangalore) and Dr. Jagdish Krishnaswamy (ATREE, Bangalore).  Salaries will be in accordance with Government of India norms.
