International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science
iNaCoMM 2019 is the 19th National and 4th International in the series of biennial conferences on Machines and Mechanisms organized under the aegis of AMM and IFFToM. The conference is creating a cross disciplinary summit that transcends departmental, institutional, industrial, public and private research organizations and global barriers and lends itself to the integration of research and education in the vital field of machines and mechanisms. The conference aims at bringing together researchers, industry experts and students, working on various aspects of design and analysis of machines, mechanisms and robotics, to deliberate through oral, poster and design contest presentations on recent, novel advances. This year the conference starts with a one-day workshop, the topic for the same will be announced soon. The deliberations in conference will be in terms of oral as well as poster presentations. Besides this there will be keynote lectures by the leading experts in the field. Selected papers from the conference will be published in scientific journal. Further it is planned to hold Students' Mechanism Design contest, an event that became part of iNaCoMM2019.
Call for Papers
The objective of this conference is to bring together experts from academic institutions, industries and research organizations and professional engineers for sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience in the emerging trends related to machine and mechanism. Prospective authors are invited to submit a two-page extended abstract at the conference website (http://iitmandi.ac.in/iNaCOMM2019/) by April 20, 2019. The official language of the conference is English. Acceptance of the abstract will be communicated to the authors and they will be invited to submit the full paper in the conference template. All submitted full papers will be subjected to a "Plagiarism check" by Turnitin Software. Papers achieving less than 20% similarity (8 words count) score will only be sent for the formal review. Acceptance level of plagiarism is less than 20% (8 words count) excluding references/bibliography. Paper must be submitted only in PDF format, with file size less than 20 MB. Selected papers from the conference will be published in scientific journals. To submit the extended abstract, the authors are requested to use the submission link. The nearest airport to Mandi is the Kullu Airport at Bhuntar, Dharamshala airport at Gaggal and Chandigarh airport. Flights to Kullu are restricted to only from Delhi, and Shimla.
From Delhi or Chandigarh, one can catch the bus from ISBT (interstate bus terminus). There are different varieties of bus facilities from Delhi and Chandigarh - ordinary, deluxe and AC buses. Alternatively, One can also plan to hire a cab or come by personal vehicle.
This distance to Mandi can be covered in approximately 12 hrs from Delhi and 6 hrs from Chandigarh (it depends on traffic on the roads or weather conditions) by bus. Transport to IIT Mandi Kamand campus from Mandi town will be arranged by IIT Mandi.
